HOW CLASSES WILL RUN |
Please note that all classes will run under the following guidelines, to
keep everyone safe. |

PLEASE FOLLOW THESE GUIDELINES WHEN ATTENDING CLASS |
1. Please do NOT attend if you feel unwell, have tested positive or have
someone in your household who has COVID |
2. Please try to take a Lateral Flow Test
taken on the day you attend. We are all still vulnerable to catch it! |
3. Please try to bring the correct money if possible. |
4. Although there are no social distancing meaures in place, please try
to arrive and leave as promptly as possible, |
5. When you arrive, please go on the stage to change your shoes and
wait to be called down for your class. |

TUESDAY NIGHTS |
BALLROOM & LATIN - IMPROVER
LEVEL 1
(8.15 - 9.15) |
Revise and improve basic moves with some additional figures in Waltz, Jive,
Quickstep, Tango, Foxtrot, Rumba |
Cha Cha Cha, Social Rhythm (easy stages). This is a class for anyone who knows
the basics in the above dances. |

THURSDAY NIGHTS |
MODERN JIVE - COMPLETE BEGINNERS
(7.15 - 8.15) |
Learn from the very beginning in easy stages! All the beginner moves,
with lots of practice and revision. |

FRIDAY NIGHTS

THE WALTZ WORKSHOPS June 10th / 17th / 24th / July 1st

floor confidently - learn technique, addtitional corner figures, leading & following

For anyone wanting to brush up their variations! |
VIENNESE WALTZ WORKSHOP -
May 27th - will suit those with a basic knowledge, who wish to improve. |

(8.00 - 9.00) |
This class covers all the ballroom and latin dances (excluding the Viennese Waltz!) |
It will develop each of the dances by improving confidence in the steps
you know and teaching additional figures. |
Suitable for those who are confident with the basic moves and a
selection of variations in all dances. |

SUNDAY NIGHTS |
BALLROOM & LATIN -
IMPROVER LEVEL 7
(7.00 - 8.00) ADVANCED GROUPS |
Usually 30 minutes of dedicated ballroom, followed by 30 minutes of
latin, these classes offer figurework and |
floorcraft in all rhythms, to enable you to
dance with confidence, comfort, and maybe a bit of style thrown in! |
Suitable for those who are competent in all rhythms. |
BALLROOM & LATIN -
IMPROVER LEVEL 5
(8.00 - 9.00) |
This class covers all the ballroom and latin dances (excluding the Viennese Waltz!) |
It will develop each of the dances by improving confidence in the steps

REDUCED PRICE "DROP DOWN" FOR ADDITIONAL CLASSES TAKEN IN
A "WEEK" |
If you have attended one class, you are eligible to attend a
lower level class for a reduced price, within the same |
week. (check the levels of class above or in the schedule) This curently
applies to classes up to Improver Level 2 |
ADDITIONAL REDUCTION FOR 3rd ATTENDANCE AT LOWER LEVEL CLASSES |
If you have attended a Level 5 (or above) and you want to attend both
Improver Level 1 & 2 classes, you will pay |
£4.00 pp for the first drop down class, and £2.50 for the 3rd class. (3
classes for £14). |
All drop down classes must be taken within 7 days of your attendance at
the higher level (or "your") class. |
Please ask me to clarify if this is unclear! |
NB if you are attending a lower level class, please
only do the work applicable to that class. |
Drop down classes are for revision and practice of previously learned
lower level steps. (Main focus and attention will |
be paid to the people who regularly attend the class at full price) |

PRIVATE LESSONS with SANDRA |
If you feel your dancing could do with some individual attention, why not
have a private lesson? |
These cost
£17.50 per half hour (pro rata) for social and medal dancers in 30
minute, 45 minute or 60 minute slots |
They are for up to 4 people, but you only pay the
rate shown above and divide the cost between
you. |
If there are more than 4 people it is a mini-class and individual rates
apply - please ask for more information. |
If you have a problem, have a private
lesson to sort it! |

PROFESSIONAL
PRIVATE LESSONS with SANDRA |
If you wish to be trained in a dancing qualification please speak to
Sandra. Lessons are £45.00 per hour. |
This is one to one tuition only. |
Examinations at Spooner Row are held annually. |
Occasionally there will be a Student class for anyone studying
the same modules to share. |
CANCELLATION FEE: Please note that there will be a 50% of a private lesson fee charge |
made for any private lesson cancelled without 24 hours' notice (please give
48 hours at weekends - including |
Friday nights) unless the slot can be rebooked, in which case
there will be no charge payable. |
This is because it is almost impossible to reschedule while
already teaching or with too little notice, and the hall has |
to be paid for. |
